From Camposol, drive to the end of the 603 (towards Mazarron), and then take the 332 towards Cartagena.You will leave the Port area (on the 332) at the Alamillo roundabout, which is easily recognisable as it has a boat in the middle.Continue on the 332 towards Cartagena.

Just before the Repsol petrol station (which is on your left after a small roadside bar), turn right onto the E22, sign posted to Isla Plana and La Azohia. Drive through Isla Plana and when you reach a fork with another small boat on it, go left towards Cartagena. Then turn right at the first tarmac road onto the E23, signposted Campillo de Adentro.

Drive through Campillo de Adentro, follow the road uphill round many bends until you finally reach a left turn signposted Torretera Cortada Propeidad Militar' and "Prohibidado El Paso Propeidad Militar' (These are old signs).

Turn left and follow this road until you reach the fort, passing through a set of green metal gates with `no entry' signs. Continue along the track to the top where there is a car park on a level with two of the guns.
